I am giving my opinion that the movie has a core message that has gay and feminist themes. I know that many have not read or seen Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol. But for sure many of them are able to see the allusion of how the poor during that era had to suffer. Stop making an issue that you need to see the movie to give an opinion on its main theme, when it is not necessary to do so. You only need to see it if you want to talk about individual characters within the broad storyline. That you have done. But then again, the individual characters are not where we disagree. We disagree that the main theme is about gay and feminist issues.
